Founded in 1991 by five former Junior Military Officers, Orion International is the nation’s largest recruiting firm, specializing in placing former military professionals into the civilian workforce. Orion is headquartered in Cary, NC, with offices located in Austin, TX; Virginia Beach, VA; Cincinnati, OH; and San Diego, CA. All of our Recruiters and Account Executives are veterans, as is the majority of our executive leadership team.

In June 2007, Orion International partnered with mid-market private equity firm Centre Partners, to expand our scope of services and assist an even greater number of transitioning veterans. As a result of this partnership, Orion has since acquired Cumberland Therapy Services, a Charlotte based provider of therapy services to school systems throughout the nation; and Therapy Staff, headquartered in Northville, MI, which specializes in contract placement of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists to healthcare facilities throughout the Midwest.
In addition to Orion’s primary military recruiting business, we also offer complementary services through our divisions: Orion Engineering Solutions, which provides industry experienced Engineers to a variety of industries; Orion MRPO, providing clients with a national recruiting strategy combined with marketing and branding campaigns; Orion Outplacement Services, conducting outplacement workshops for displaced employees; and Gemini Energy Services, providing contract Operations and Maintenance teams to the renewable energy industries.
